Hayden's Surgery

Hayden's surgery went well today. Dr. Boggess removed the ear tubes that were in his ear canal and replaced them with permanent tubes (these will last 3 years at the most then he will remove them). He did not find nodules on his vocal chords but rather swollen "places" that he wants to watch carefully over time. He requested that Hayden take speech therapy to teach him how to speak slower and not to strain his vocal chords which could cause the vocal chords to become more swollen. He also drew blood to do allergy testing- we will know from that in about a week. Thanks to all who have prayed for him today.
